I have MAC OSX 10.3 and I downloaded Windows Media Play 9.0 for Mac OSX. The
Video plays but there is no sound. I can use Quicktime and I get sound from
Quicktime and other Macintosh applications. I clicked mute on and off
several times and moved the volume up but still get no sound. Can you tell
me what to try to get the sound to work?

When you say "the vide plays" do you mean the demo file that comes with
the app, any file or a specific one you tried to access ??

It does not matter which file, even the demo file has no audio sound.

OK, I think I know what it is:
- first make sure you check the system preferences. THe audio output has
to be on internal speakers (some apps mess with that and then other apps
cannot output audio properly).
- then if you have GarageBand, launch it at elast once. It shoudl
correct some audio output issues of the same kind.
