Hello, I want to use the asx file to put ID markers (e.g. at 2mins 20 secs;
3mins 40 secs etc) in a WMV file and link to those markers. Th wmv is
embedded in a page along with a series of links to time points in the wmv
stream.

The user can click on a link and the wmv stream will go straight to that
marker point and play at, for example, 2 mins 20 secs or 3mins 40 secs etc

Is this possible only using the ASX file without putting any code on the
page that the wmv is embedded in ?

any help on this would be fantastic!

cheers

David

as far as I know it is not possible. you can add some code in the web page
that jumps to particular time segments. or you can create a separate ENTRY
for each clip in the ASX using start and duration properties.
