You're welcome. In future please can you describe what you're starting
with and your intended end result and we'll be able to help, even if
we just point you to a google search.

Do you have the LAME encoder tools and directshow filter ?

Encoder :
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm

Just-the-Filter :
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/LAME_DirectShow_Filter.htm

You'll need the directshow filter (the file in the archive ending in
..ax) and must follow the instructions on that page exactly to get it
to install and playback.

Then encode a WAV file using the LAME encoder, and test your MP3 file
can be played in media player. Now you've made a working sample MP3,
need to know what you want to convert it "to". Do you want real player
audio, or aac audio, or windows media audio? Or are you happy to stick
to the MP3 which you can play pretty much anywhere ...?
