Are there any messages in the error log to indicate a problem ?

Hye,
i looked in the files for an hour or so but nothing indicates an error.
It seems there are only messages of succesful streams, im shure i want to
log ALL messages.

OK so. Hmm - in your testing, when you connect to the media server
(preferably from outside your LAN) - do you see the connected user in
the publishing point stats ?
And when you disconnect (stop the player) does the *player* show any
error message - and does the number of connected users shown on the
publishing point drop back by one ?
How about "the stream" - anything unusual about it - is it a WMV file
or an MP3 or a live encode or ... in fact - why not *tell us* about
your stream so we get the picture.
PS you shouldn't have to "look in the logs for an hour", you would use
a log parser to summarise the logs in some way and look for requests
that didn't have a 200 status code.
I guess you could use Analog, as the WMS logfiles are just variations
on the CLF used by web servers with some custom fields (eg
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/analog/help/18809)

Hye, thanks for your help:
Here is the link, please notice that you only can play it once, then i have
to restart the publishing point.
mms://80.126.144.49:888/marionna
Both times i see connected clients n WMS, so if the video plays i see a
client connected and if it thoesen,t play also. No error messages.
If it doesen,t play the media player runs for 1 second and then it stops.
The format of the video is .wmv and i connect from outide my lan.(inside the
lan its the same problem)
if i play the sample files
I found something out now: i changed the path in the source tab from a .wmv
to the same file but then as a .wsx
Then i start the pub.point, the tab says that its playing and it runs the
video for 32 seconds (the length of the video) and it says "publishing point
is started but streaming has ended.
I even can,t play the video then from within the media services, first have
to restart.
What could that be, i now found out that i just can connect in the moment
the video runs on the server.
Thanks for now.
