I believe there's some parameter you can set - you should check with the
..server newsgroup... ?

See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.

I have set a windows media encoder to serve a stream with three
different bit rates to a windows media server:
280kbps
128kbps
43kbps
When the player included in the web page is WMP 6.4 it always choose
the 43kbps stream whereas player's version 7 choose the highest bit
rate (depending on the user's Internet connection).
How can I force to the WMP 6.4 to choose the highest bit rate possible?
Thanks
