Hi,

Is there a way to have the encoder beep or make a noise when someone
connects to a live stream being broadcast from the encoder?

Thanks!

Not directly AFAIK. It could well be possible to have a program that
starts the encoder and does the 'beep' when a connection is made - but
you;d have to know something about javascript or VBScript or one of
the .NET languages to try it.

It does give me an idea though as something to add to my encoder
broadcast application - nice one !

No need to reply, I got the plugin! The media encoder now plays a sound
when someone connects to the live stream!

Mac,

Someone made it for me. It's not actually a plugin.

It is a seperate app but it works! I plays a sound
when someone connects or disconnects. It cost me
$140.00 to get it made. What are you willing to pay
for a copy?

Nick
