Windows Media Encoder Prevented Access to Server Object |

I have two servers, an old one which I received configured and a new server.
I was re-creating the okd server when I ran into a problem. After
installing Windows Media Encoder I was unable to access the server objects
from VBscript.
I have surfing the web for the answer when after a quick experiment I cam up
with the answer.

Having a new Winodows 2003 disc which already contains SP1 it was not
possible to carry out the a SP re-install. I tried the alternative method
but this also didn't work.
I did find the removing the Streaming Media role, installing Windows Media
Encoder and then creating the Streaming Media role again solved the problem
and allowed my scripts to run
