Anyone know how to get it to do it? Just got a new Sony Ericsson W800i phone
and want to save some apace on the memory card by converting my MP3's to
smaller AAC files...

WMP don't do it, any codecs out there to help me?

Quicktime PRO (about $25) can convert pretty much any audio to AAC (it
can also convert your video to iPod video format). Worth getting in
general - the licence fee just unlocks "pro" features in Quicktime.
