WMS 2003 - Plays on server but not on workstations |
|
|
I do not know what has happened to my configuration, but I am able to setup
streams that will play on the server, but will not play on workstations or
on the internet. I have checked the DNS and everything else, but can not
seem to get the stream to leave the server.
Any input is appreciated.

The firewall is turned off and I have not made any changes to the security
policies. This was working before and all of a sudden quit.
I am suspicious that the latest Windows 2003 server security update had
something to do with it. The day before the service quit my server
performed automated updates from Microsoft and rebooted itself.
Is there a way I can review the last automated updates from Microsoft to see
if that may have something to do with this issue?
Thanks
Mat

I am still having problems with this. I do not have a firewall running
between my workstation and the server. This was working before, but now the
webpage loads, displays the WMP tries to connect, them said Ready. I am
even doing this configuration with IP addresses to rule out DNS issues.
HELP PLEASE :-)
