Can't add songs to Library |

For some reason I can't add particular songs to my Library. I have played
these songs in iTunes (know, I deserve to be stabbed, but I wanted to see
what would work!), winamp, dbPowerAmp and that's all I can think of on the
top of my head.
Anyway, I had gotten errors before about id3 tags and what not, but this is
not the same sort of thing.
When I go to add the songs to my library it runs through like they are added
but they are nowhere to be found. I can open the file to listen to it just
fine, but it can't get in the library. I'm not sure what's wrong.
Can anyone help me?

What file type are they? You give the impression that that they're MP3
files... how were they created? Can you edit their tag data in Media Player
using the Advanced Tag Editor?
