I'm a newbie to the Windows Media Services.
As the bandwidth required for streaming a video will be
Bitrate x NumberOfClients

Make that :
(bitrate + network_overhead) * (number_of_simultaneous_clients) +
(bitrate_fast_start + network_overhead) * (number_of_WMP9-10_players)
and you're closer ;-)

hard(pls correct me if I was wrong) to achieve good streaming quality
through the internet considering the hugh bandwidth required when many
clients accessing the video.
But I was amazed with the video quality especially the smoothness when
I view the video and this site(I selected the "HIGH-Broadband") :

They're delivering at 296kbps WMV8 (including 16kbps ACELP audio)
which is actually quite old - you might well expect more for your
bitrate by using WMV9 or H264 codecs.
As it's coming from Akamai and they're one of the largest distributed
streaming networks on the planet, I'm not surprised at all that the
bitrate is inconsequential for them. If you like, you might prefer to
look at their website to see what their hosting costs are, since
setting yourself up in this manner will likely cost 00's of millions.
