I dont know why but today the encoder cant recognise my sound card! yesterday
was perfect, and working properly.
I try to re-install the application, but it said that several dll files
couldnt be registered. I believe that it has done something with the
registry.

Can someone help me please?

Regards,

Pan

Hmm 1st step, just find the CD that came with your sound card - on it
will be an installer program for the "drivers" - the dll's which allow
windows to know about and talk to your sound card.

That'd be where I'd start.

no, my sound drivers are ok, and work properly. Also with other programs i

When you say "use the sound" are you imprecisely describing that you
can playback ? Or can you *definitely* record ? They're separate
things u see.

Otherwise, have a look in Control Panel at System and then Device
Manager. If you see a yellow triangle next to your sound card,
something's interfering with the hardware.

Something must have changed though, right - what software or hardware
was most recently installed ? Can you do a "System Rollback" and did
it help when you did ?

choose. take a look at this pic:

Hmm I can't think what would cause that. Unless you have a USB sound
card and somehow it's not detected as a "WDM" device type, I dunno.

Presumably you've tried reinstalling the encoder and it didn't work...

Sorry
