I've had *some* success with it, but I've also experienced a lot of
bugs. It pretty much depends ono what content you try to access.
Streaming wasn't easy for me in web browsers, especially since their
isntaller doesn't seem to even try to setup the system to use the QT
plugin in web browwsers once their codecs is installed so the only
workaround is to set it all up manually... tedious.
I also wasn't very happy with their support forum. The tone they use and
the answer they provide got on my nerves a few times.
You ca alsways try their product anyway. It'll play the first half of
the files. If you uninstall it, re-install WMP since they deactivate it
to avoid conflicts (you could re-activate it, but it's a bit tedious -
reinstalling should be easier ;-) ).

Flip4Mac |

Unfortunately, there are so many ways to serve a video/audio file for the web. Some of those are done in a way that will not support anything but the Windows system with Microsoft Windows Media Player.
Our Flip4Mac engineers work on this daily as users send us sites that serve web video and don't work with Safari enabled with WMV Player. As more web developers become aware that Flip4Mac is a plugin that many Mac users have, they will change the way they code their sites.
In the meantime, if you have Windows Media Player for the Mac installed, you can switch Flip4Mac off when you get to sites that don't support our player. Just go to System Prefs/WMV Player/Plugin and uncheck Flip4Mac. You should be able to play the clip once you've relaunched your Safari browser.
