the only information that the audio CD has is the TOC. the player uses this
TOC information to retrieve metadata (track name, artist, album) from the
web. this behavior has not changed in WMP 10.

When I had MP version 9, all the names of the songs were listed as was the
name of the CD. Now, with this %^&^#%& version 10, it is trying to tell me
it must go to the web to get this information when I know it is encoded on
the CD. I don't want Media Player going to the web. How can I either roll
back to v.9 or make v.10 stop behaving like it has to connect to the
internet to get the names of my songs. This is EXTREMELY annoying. HELP !
