I listen to the radio streams on Yahoo and VH1 often and in the past I
could open a radio station and if I wanted to switch stations it would
switch no problem by clicking on another stations link. In the past
few months I have been having problems. I can connect no problem to
the first station I listen to but when I try to switch stations it
either says "Connecting" or "Stopped" in the media player status bar
and I have to re-open the browser to re-connect. All of my friends
are having the same issue. Did one of the windows update patches do
this to our machines or is there some simple setting to change to get
it back to working the way it used to. I also listen to "Sirius
Radio" streams and in their FAQS it says to go into Tools-->Internet
Options-->Settings and change "Check for new versions of stored pages"
and change it to "Never" or "Automatically" to fix this issue. That
doesn't work. Is there some Media Player setting or I.E. setting that
needs to be changed. I'm using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.
