Error Message/Windows Media Player 10 |
|
|
I just bought a new cd and ripped the music to windows media player.
Then
I tried to download them to my mp3 player. All but one of the songs
transferred okay. On that song I get a message : "The drive cannot find
the sector requested". I can play the song in the media player, but can't
get it on my mp3 player. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks. Windows XP
Home, Windows Media Player 10.

By default WMP rips to WMA with DRM crippling. Are you sure that you
actually got MP3 files?
And why are you using WMP to rip CDDAs anyway?

For clarification, DRM is opt-in here. So the correct statement would be
"By default WMP rips to WMA". You'll recall the pop-up dialog you got when
you first ripped a CD...
