Do you actually have WindowsXP ? And media player for windows XP ?
What happens when you go to Help->About Media Player - does it
helpfully tell you which version of the program you've got ?

So, the problem is in loading the bonus pack onto XP ?
Or the option is not there to export the playlist ?
I'm assuming you've used the online instructions and they didn't work.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/bppowertoys.aspx#excel
You will need Office / Excel2002 or newer to use the bonus pack, is
that correct for your machine ?
To clarify, the steps are :
WMP -> Export playlist
Excel <- Import playlist
There is no way in which you can do this directly
Excel <-- Playlist --> WMP

>Hei Neil thanks for your respond, Im very shure that i have windows xp , but im not shure about the media player it only say windows media player version 9, never mentions xp there. but i have tryed everything as to install the windows media player for xp, but i alway wind up with this one, the same one. But i have found another program wich can do the wrest of the things i cant do with wmp, but i would prefer to use only one prg, and im a microsoft man and i would like to stick to the microsoft series. Im a office userspecialist, and i was hopeing i could work with my media data some more in office, access and excel. so i am a little dissapointed in microsft. and it should be a connection between these prg gruppes. dont you agree? but thanks any way.
