Windows Media Player Error |
|
|
Hi:
With some videos I have an error with the Windows Media Player 9 with all updates and service packs in Windows XP Proffesional. The video is not playing and give an error "wmplayer.exe detected a problem and have to close", but this same video is possible to see in another computer with the same OS and with all updates and service pack, and is possible too to see with the Quicktime Player.
Thanks,
Javier Valverde

OK Now This worked for me and I found the awnser in the Internet Explorer Newsgroups Lets hope it works for you. Bring up Internet Explorer, Go to tools at the top of the page, Select Inernet Options, Advanced tab, Scroll down to Microsoft VM , and uncheck the box next too JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled , then restart and try media player again and see if it occurs. this has helped me
