Hello,

I have set the following rights.

RightsObj.AllowBackupRestore = False
RightsObj.AllowPlay = True
RightsObj.AllowCopy = True
RightsObj.Playcount = 2
RightsObj.BurnToCDCount = 2

How can it be that the Windows Media Player gets a new license after playing
the file two times???

I have set the allowbackuprestore = false...!!!!!

I have the following rights after the Windows Media Player gets the new
license:

RightsObj.Playcount = 2
RightsObj.BurnToCDCount = 4 ------>>>>>> ???????????

Once a license expires it is deleted from the system.

In your case you set your playcount variable to 2 times and once the 2nd time is up the license is removed which will prompt wmp to aquire a new license when the file is played
