WMP for Mac quits when I change skins |

Hi,
I just downloaded WMP for Mac. I'm working on Tiger (10.4.2). I've
installed WMP, and it seems to work fine. The only problem is that when
I go to change skins, the program quits and I get the common error
message (The application Windows Media Player quit unexpectedly).
Should I just redownload WMP? How do I fix this problem. Thanks.

Same thing here when I select the "Modern" skin. I think it is simply a
bug in the app :-( (one more).

Hi Corentin,
trav a.k.a. danuke from the Apple forums here. You have chatted with me
there a few times there also.
I am having the same problem also; however; I can't remember if it was Media
or Real Player that only listed OS 10.3 in their dl descriptions. But it
could have been neither seeing as how I have been chasing dl things all over
the place trying to get Classic to work with Tiger. It has been ugly and
long, but I have Classic again.

Oh, yes I did send the crash error log to Apple for what ever good that would
do. I don't know how to get that info to Microsoft w/o paying 40 bucks. I
don't think that posting all that code here would help.

I've been away for a while and I'm now trying to catch up with the 2
zillion posts and e-mails I missed :-\

It could be a Tiger imcompatibility indeed. The fact that they don't
write that they officially support 10.4 is not really indicative of
anything. They forget to update the description for a lot of other
products though (eg mouse drivers or network patches) but it doesn't
necessarely mean that it's not compatible: they've just forgotten to
update the description.
As far as I am concerned, theis app is *barely* MacOS X compatible
anyway :->
