I want users to be able to download the content served from ondemand
publishing point that uses a server side playlist with two items in it.

I plan to provide the users with the ability to stream the content in
the player, or download it. However, I don't want to go through the
trouble of dealing with a streaming server and webserver. Is there
anyway I can achieve this by using only the streaming server?

I tried by just setting the publishing point to stream on HTTP, however
I am still not able to save the stream.

Any ideas/suggestions?

thanks

toni

Hi Toni.

Yes there is a way to do this (its a bit complicated to setup). Contact me at
jlittler@ryerson.ca for info.

Just a short question here, does it will be nesessary to run the web server,
or is ther also a possibility to do this via the media server it self?
