hey...
i downloaded windows media player 9 yesterday.
when i open this url: www.msfilmfest.com/film.html and try
and view the film of the week, a new window pops up and all
these weird characters fill the screen. it does that for
both links. now i tried to put the URL into my media player
9 and it worked fine.. what is the problem ?? (let me tell
you that i run the msfilmfest.com page.. so if it's
something on the website site, please let me know!!!)
thanks so much!

The server might have been mis configured and sending the content to
your browser as ASCII text, rather than to your player. It's working
for me (w2000/media player 7)

If you still have problems, an interim solution is to right-click the
link and choose 'Save As' then view the file once it's downloaded.
