Streaming video question |
|
|
no longer able to play WMP-only streaming video from Net. i click on video
link - status bar reads "connecting," then immediately reads "ready" (no
buffering and no video). clicking play button results in same. streaming
works if non-WMP player (i.e. realplayer and/or quicktime) is the default or
provided as an alternative playback program.
all "file types" boxes are selected under WMP's options. and i've rebooted
after selecting all of them.
my setup:
MSWindows XP Home - v 5.1 w/service pack 2
WMP v 10.000(something)
Internet Security: recently downloaded Norton Internet Security 2005 (but
problem began prior to that)
ideas?
thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same problem, any help out there would be most welcome.
