Hi,

I have Ibook G4. Whenever I download the media player installer it downloads
WindowMedia.stix whenever I click on it it says there is no default
application attached to the file. Which application should I select...

Install the lates version of Stuffit expander and drag the .sitx file on
its icon. This should decompact the installer. You can then launch the
installer.
I would suggest repairing persmissions on your drive efore installing
(select your hard drive in Disk Utility to repair permissions from
