The client does not have the DRM security update |

I am using Windows 2000 Pro SP4. I have been going around in circles trying
to get the Yahoo! Music Engine to work. When I attempt to purchase online
music tracks from Yahoo! the download always results with the following
error message:
License request error 0x8004d38b (The client does not have the DRM security
update. A security update is required to play secure content or acquire
licenses).
OK, I already had Media Player 9 with DRM. But, learning recently that
Microsoft recently found bugs in the DRM, and they have issued a patch and
changed the EULA, etc... I decided to visit
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp and get the DRM
update. So I click on the UPDATE button, and then am asked whether I wish
to continue. I answer OK...and then I get the following error message:
Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error.
So what might be wrong?

The website doesn't work, as it's obviously defective - at least the script
recognizes the error to some extend ans turns the Update button gray.
So what? Why don't you simply download KB891122 from MS Download center? Or
simply active DRM auto update? Or stop using this trojan horse and
disrespect Yahoo Music and other providers which fraud you?

What are you calling a Trojan Horse? Yahoo!'s Music Engine or Microsoft's
Media Player?

The DRM components included within Media Player or Windows.
