Codec Questions |

I have an application that is embedding the 6.4 MP activeX control. A user
of the program is able to watch the video but can't hear the sound. I can
use the program on the same file and get both video and sound. This would
indicate to me that there is an issue with a codec. The file is encoded
using Windows Media 8 audio and video codecs.
What steps can I take on this user's machine to resolve this issue?
So far I have upgraded the user from MP 7.01 to MP 9 and I have had him
install the wmp9 codec redistributable.
