Windows Meta Files - clip transition |

I'm sure this has been asked... but searches are returning nothing (even on
content I know exist in this forum).
Is it possible to specify a transition between clips in a meta file... i.e.
Fade In & Fade Out between clips. The clips are generated dynamically from
larger already encoded content, so I can't encode the clip with the fade in &
out transitions at the start and end of said clips. Need a way to apply a
fade in at the beginning and a fade out at the end of every clip in the meta
file.
