im running tiger 10.4.2 on a G5 tower and wmp wont display or allow me
to download .wmv files in safari. does anyone know whether this is a
conflict btwn safari and wmp, or something else. i dont want to have to
run IE if i dont have to. has anyone else had and managed to
troubleshoot this prblem???

Have just posted a similar question (had not read yours prior). I too am
using Os10.4.2 (Tiger) but on a G3 iBook. My WMV was working fine with
Panther but now it is not working and I've no idea how to get it running. If
you find out would you be so kind as to let me know. Thanks.

Well since it worked forothers, you could try as well: launch Garage
Band, then try again...
