So I downloaded, through the annoying use of Virtual PC 7, a protected
WMA file from rockstar.msn.com. Not only does it sound like garbage
through Windows Media Player in Virtual PC, but the Mac version of
Windows Media player won't play it at all (even though this is
Microsoft provided content). People have told me to burn it as an
audio CD, which really stinks as that feature doesn't seem to work in
Virtual PC 7. Are there any other solutions available (other than
buying a Windows PC). Its too bad Microsoft won't make their purchased
music work cross platform like Apple has sucessfully done with iTunes
Music Store. Sorry about the complaints, but this is frustrating. I
think I'll be sending an e-mail to INXS to consider using a different
content provider.
