How do I clear list of recently played files |
|
|
I am using WMP for Mac OS X (v. 9.0.0) (running on a G4 Powerbook with OS X
10.4.2).
How do I clear the list of recently played files (i.e., file names listed
under "Open Recent" menu)?
The menu options on WMP for Windows for clearing history do not exist!

Nope it doesn't.
The FAQ says:
| Quote: | How can I clear the list of recent items:
- delete the "Windows Media Player Prefs" file in the pref folder.
|
~/Library/Preferences/Windows Media Player Prefs

Hi Corentin,
Thanks for replying, but I'm afraid I don't find a Windows Media Player
Preferences file in the Preferences folder. Should it be in the Library
folder on my hard drive? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

You might be looking in the wrong place.
~ in ~/Library/Preferences/Windows Media Player Prefs stands for <your
home directory>.
It's in the pref folder of the library folder iside your home directory
:-))
