With new update Can't find radio stations |

Two days ago I got a pop-up when I opened the Media Player that advised me of
a new update, which I downloaded and installed. However, now I can't use
Media Player to access or search for radio stations stream - I keep getting
sent to some kind of music download thing, (It says it is MSN, but who
knows?) when the only thing I want to do is hear news & talk.
Was this download really from Microsoft? -but more importantly, How can I
get rid of it?
I can always go tho the websites of my favorite stations and get access that
way, but Media Player was -was(!)- more convenient; I haven't had any use for
it since the latest 'update'.
