Can't seem to get this bugger to work. Won't even play the sample file. It
installed "successfully" but doesn't work. Any ideas?

"Trash the .plist and pref file"
Could you be more specific? Which plist and pref file? Where do I find these?
Thanks,

Trash the .plist and pref file, repair permissions and make sure there
is no weird character in the path to the file or the app (eg, an
accented letter in the name of the drive). That usually does the trick,

They're located in ~/Library/Preferences. "~" represents the location of
your home folder, usually located in /Users/<Your User> and accessible in
the Finder by going to Go > Home.
The two files Corentin is referring to are "com.microsoft.mediaplayer.plist"
and "Windows Media Player Prefs".
