serious DRM9 problem |

If what you're saying is that users suddenly can't play
DRM protected content they already have a license for, it
means the user's DRM has become corrupted. However that
license storage error is pretty generic so you need to
make sure this is actually true. If the user can still
store licenses and play other DRM content then the DRM on
their computer is actually fine, and your system has a
problem. If the DRM is actually hosed (which happens a
lot more on Win9X systems) then a few options are
available.
Upgrade to WMP 9 if they're not already, and if they're on
XP upgrade to WMP 10. Both have improved DRM code which
can solve some of these issues.
If it's still hosed then you have to delete the DRM. Go
into c:\documents and settings\local settings\drm
(something like that) and there is a hidden folder named
DRM which contains the DRM files. Delete that think which
will nuke your drm. Then hopefully it will rebuild itself
when you try storing a license again. This is a last
resort item though.

Hi!
We use DRM9 and MP9 and predelivery licensing process.
All our clients are 'individualized' and the license
issuer server are
secure updated too. But some clients suddenly stop to
play the DRM contents.
The error we receve from our license issuer server
is: "License storage is
not working. Contact Microsoft product support." or
something in this style.
After the client receive this error only reinstall the OS
help to begin to
play the DRM again in that machine. Or creating a new
administrator profile
in a machine that has the problem with DRM can help. But
when re login again
with the original user the problem still exist.
What can we do with the machine that has the problem with
the DRM? What is
the reason of that problem?
Any ideas?
Regards,
Irena
