Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to create a desktop shortcut to a radio station in My Stations in Online Radio in Guide in Windows Media Player 10 on Windows XP Home SP2?

Regards,
Bob Brannon

That worked but isn't there supposed to be someway to get Links from within WMP onto the favorites list?

To make a desktop shortcut you need the complete web address for the
station's audio stream. To do this, you go to the station's web site and
find the embedded Windows Media Player. Right click on the embedded player
(it may or may not need to be playing at the time) and select Properties.
Look for the URL of the audio stream. Now create a desktop shortcut with
that address.

This doesn't always work - it depends how the web page is coded - but it
works frequently.

You asked how to make a desktop shortcut.

Instructions for adding stations to My Favorites are in the Player itself.
In WMP 10, go to Guide > Radio > Radio Tuner.

I have put a radio station under "My Stations", but that is in WMP itself. I do not see a way, or instructions under Radio Tuner. Where do I go from there?
