Copying CD to Hard-drive using WMP ver. 9 and then replaying |

This is insane! I bought the cd,paid good money for it,
and want to place it on my hd to listen to it when I
want. But somehow because of "greed" from Hollywood I
suspect, I am prevented from doing so. How does one place
a copy of cd tracks on the hd, disable the stupid license
thing and thus have it available to play at will? I've
disabled the "protected" in tools and "prompt to back up
license" in order to deal with this issue, but still I am
unable to play a cd I bought several mos ago, and today re-
recorded it to the hd, but it will not play!
I would appreciate someones advice on how to deal with
this issue.
