When I'm ripping songs, wmp automatically puts the song number in front of
the song,,,,how do i stop this?
Now, all my audio files have ie:
02 This is my song
03 shake your booty
etc
2nd question, is there any way i can correct all files that have already
been ripped this way? Or do I have to individually change each one?

You need to change your settings.
In WMP9 for example go to Tools > Options > Copy Music tab then click
the button "File Name" where you will find that "Track Number" is
selected. WMP does this so that it can play the tracks back in the
order ripped, otherwise it would play them in alphabetical order.

I cant think of a way of automatically changing each file you already
have ripped.
