im tryin to burn a cd and it keeps cumin up that i dont have a portible
device, but iv already got a rewritter on the computerwhy is this and why
wont it let me burn a cd when it has done before

Maybe your trying to burn to a portable device rather than a CD ROM?

well how do i change the settings so that burns to the CD ROM

Off the top of my head I cannot remember, and it'll be slightly
different between WPM9 & 10. You could read the on-line Help (press F1)
you may find that in the screen where you are working there will be
some indication of what you are trying to burn to.
