I'm not able to change my privacy settings to auto-connect to the internet to
download file information. Anyone got the work-around?

So as near as I can tell, this is the result of a group policy written by the
network admin. Seeing as how I'm not chummy with him, who can give me a work
around? I'm sure it's something simple.
