Unable to re-acquire licenses after OS re-install |

PC crashed last night and I re-installed ME. Some DRM music files I have on my pc would not recognise the licenses, so I went back to the website to re-acquire. Unfortunately when I've dl'd the files again and click on them to play, I get the message that WMP encountered an unknown error, and the license acquisition is aborted. WHen I re-installed my OS I immediately downloaded all critical updates and media player updates, so in theory everything should be up to date. DOes anyone have any idea how I can rectify this?
