WMP recognizes my ipod when I plug it in. Once I try to sync an audiobook
file to it, the C00D0FA2 error comes up and it (my ipod) is no longer
recognized by WMP. What can I do? Thanks!

iPod is not on the list of supported devices for WMP.

Although you can use AnaPod or xPod software, I believe, to work with it.
