Media Player |

I'm not able to watch cmt.com, mtv.com, vh1.com videos. I'm using XP SP2
with WMP 10. The player works fine for videos embeded on a site. But with
cmt, mtv and vh1 it pulls up another browser window. It plays the commercial
but won't stream the song video. The player says ready. But when you hit
ready it plays the commercial. I've uninstalled a few times still does same
thing. Suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Did either of you discover a solution yet? I'm having the same problem
.... running media player v9 on Win2K.
There is a similar thread about this problem here:

Re: Media Player |

So it looks like I can play videos on MTV and VH1 ... but I had never
used them before ... and when I did ... it prompted me to update my
DRM. Could this be connected to the problem? When I went back to CMT
I still couldn't play videos or hear listening parties, but I had tried
their site before updating my DRM.
Help.

I am having exactly the same problem after doing a repair install of Windows
XP Home edition. I also seemed to have a script error message when I try to
install the Walmart music store (which BTW worked fine before). If theres
anyone who's gotten this problem resolved or has a solution please post it
here. |
