Similar to some of the other posts here - i have legally
downloaded a music track from Wanadoo, and that worked
fine. However, when i come to play it with wmp9 a box
pops up saying i need to upgrade my DRM. i have read the
explanation for this, and that's fine. It says click OK
to do so, i do, it eggtimers and thinks for a bit, but
nothing happens and i still can't play the track and get
the same box if i do. I am connected to the net already
(broadband) so it doesn;t even have to connect for me.
Any ideas?

You are being asked to "individualize" your player. This connects to a web
server and downloads and updated file. Over a slow modem this can take a few
minutes.
Questions:
-When you hit "OK" does the player say anything or show you that something
is happening?
-Do you use a proxy server or "web accelerator"?
-What speed connection do you have?
-Do you use any content provider such as Napster, CinemaNow, etc (other than
Wanadoo)?
-Does the Individualization process work if you use the IndivIT web site?
