I have had a problem for like the past 3-4 months with my Media Player. A
few months back I could pull up "Yahoo Music or my "Sirius Radio Streamer"
from my browser and I could listen to Radio Stations or watch videos fine.
Problem is now I can go to the "Yahoo Music" or "Sirius Radio" site and it
pulls up the first radio station or video I click on fine. But when I try to
switch to another station or video it says player stopped. Before i could
switch wherever. The only way I can switch stations or videos now is to
totally close out my browsers re-open and then click on the new station or
video and it comes down fine. This happens at my PC at work as well as at
home and just started a few months ago. So I don't think it's machine
specific. Did something change with Media Player or is there some setting
I'm missing. Listed below are the instructions from "Sirius Radio" to fix
this "So-Called" Streaming issue but it doesn't work. Has anyone else had
this problem and if so what did you do to resolve it. Please Help.

Your Directions

13. Why does the player always say it’s “ready” when I click
on a channel, but no music is playing?
In order to ensure that the SIRIUS Player functions
properly, you must set your browser to cache pages either
automatically or to never cache them at all.

To do this in Internet Explorer, go to your
browser's "Tools" menu, click on "Internet Options,"
then "Settings," then select "Never" or "Automatically,"
click "Apply" and then "Okay." This should resolve the
problem.

For Netscape on Windows, go to your browser’s "Edit" menu,
choose "Preferences," select "Advanced," then
select "Cache." Under "Compare the page in the cache to the
page on the network" select "Every time I view the page" for
best results

For Internet Explorer on Mac go to your browser's "Explorer"
menu, choose "Preferences," then click on "Advanced."
Under "Update Pages" select "Always" for best results.

These settings may vary from browser to browser.

These directions don't help a thing. This happens at my
machine at work and at home.
