Windows Media Player 10 DSL and Router |
|
|
I am running Windows XP and SP2. I install a DLS modem from SBC and a Linksys
Router. In addtion I download Itunes, which came with Quicktime. Before the
DSL and the router and Itunes. The media player worked fine playing any and
all video. Now it does not. I get an error message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the
Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located a removable storage
card, insert the storage card."
I re-installed the media player and it still doesn't work. Can someone
please tell me what else I should do?
Thanks,
Jen

Check to see if the clock is set correctly on your PC. I used the
internet time tab and enable the time sync. Started working, I'll be
damned!
