Internet sound not working |

Trying to listen to any songs/ringtone previews/video footage off the
internet has been giving me trouble. For the video footage, the video may
show, but not the sound for it. So basically, I kept getting a WMP Error
Message, saying I've encountered error message C00D11BA everytime I tried to
listen to anything off the internet.
I have WMP version 9.00.00.298 and
Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2222 A.
Any help would be appreciated

your audio device may not be function properly, or it doesnt support Secure
Audio path
goto the manufacturer site/ windows update to see if there is an update
aduio driver.
if u got more then one speaker on your computer. u should specific the
speaker
tools > options > device > speaker
choose the seaker that u would like to use.

Secure Audio Path is only relevant for DRM-crippled content, and isn't
available for Win98 anyway.

Another cause could be an recent driver, but an outdated DirectX. Or maybe
there's just another program using the audio device? Quite usual for
non-WDM audio drivers, but can happen with WDM drivers too.
