Help!!Why cannot connect to web media. |

I am working as a engineer in enterprise. currently i found a issue in our
business, could anybody do me the favor to help me out please?Detailed as
below:
Viewing web related videos is impossible with New XP image system, They do
work successfully on all W2K images(with same proxy settings). Windows Media
Player will exhibit error below: Windows Media Player cannot connect to the
server. The server might not be correct, the server might not be available,
or your proxy settings might not be correct.

you are seeing this error most likely because windows media player cannot
found the video source
they might be a connecting problem , verify the network connection
the server might be busy, so it cannot response at that time
improper setting for windows media player
goto tools>options > network> HTTP proxy settings
try using the same setting as u y\used on your 2k workstations

Hi michael,
Thank you very much for your help, however, it seems that my proxy settings
is the same with win2k one, and this media file can be accessed smoothly when
this issue is encountered in xp platform.
