Windows Media 10 for OSX |

Are there plans to release WMP 10 for OS X in the near future, because
WMP 9 does not provide much functionality.

and it's just plain broken.
MS is not giving any statement on WMP10 or even on fixes for WMP9

i think that wmp10 will have the same functionality as wmp9
(don't trust windows programmers that make mac programs)

I wonder if Apple will make quicktime be able to play these windows media
files. As of yesterday my wmp won't play ANY video with sound, saying that
there is a codec problem. It won't even play the sample files that come with
it. Does anyone know of a third party program for mac that plays these files? |

Flip4Mac offers some QuickTime codecs (shareware) that allow you to play
WMV files directly in QuickTime player.
