Hey, this has probably been asked 50 million times, but I'm short on time...

I'm sure you all know about myspace and how people have nifty videos on
their pages and such, well I happen to have one. I know several people with
videos on theor pages and for some reason they never play for me...

I have the newest version of WMP and everything, it just doesn't play..it
says the code error is 80040241.

Hopefully someone can help me with this? It gets on my nerves..I want a
nifty video aon my site and I want to be able to see nifty videos...help?

Thanks in advance!

Well it's not guaranteed to play any file so I guess this nifty video
is one of the file types the media player doesn't support - have a
look here for an explanation of what media files it can play :

sorry to butt in but i have the same problem and its very annoying. at first
i assumed
the same thing about the non-supporting of the media files, however i
quickly found out that
the media file types were mostly WMV, would windows media player be able to
support WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO file. then i thought it was my security settings,
but nothing looks out of the ordinary, could someone out there... anyone...
please provide an alternative solutions

Post a URL of an online WMV that you can't play, and I'll take a look
- it's too hard to guess what you're not seeing ;-)
