Hi Everyone,
What Windows Media SDK could I use for playing ASF/WMV files on PDA with
Microsoft Mobile 2003 Second Edition?
Thanks,
Vadym

You'll need to read "Windows Media Player for Pocket PC SDK"
http://www.pocketpcdn.com/libraries/wmp.html

Also have a look at the link under "How can I automate the Media
Player from eVB?" which contains an alternate download location for
the SDK and documentation :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dncenet/html/WinCEFAQ.asp

And possibly this one : "Windows Media Device Manager 10 SDK"
http://tinyurl.com/4njtp

There's a useful (older) tutorial here too :
http://www.codeproject.com/ce/TNVideoStreaming.asp

Thanks for replay.
I already use "Windows Media Player for Pocket PC SDK".
This control always switch screen from Landscape mode to Portrait mode in WM
2003 SE.
This control does not support wmv9 .

Thanks,
Vadym

This wasn't listed as your requirement (you just mentioned WM2003SE).

There's no documented way to make the player go 'Full Screen' with
rotation, as it does by pressing the fullscreen button.

The SDK documents really refer to Media Player 8 for PPC, as the
control didn't work properly for Media Player 9 on PPC.

So, the media player SDK pre-dates WM2003SE, and there is no later
documentation to guide you - and that which exists is not correct for
WM2003 1st edition. (More specifically, embedding the player in a web
page causes PIE crashes unles you remove all the Param tags).

I would say what you aim for cannot be done according to the
documentation available.
