i cannot sync tracks to my sons mp3 player and all that comes up is a error
message please help

what you have to do is go to the company website of your mp3 player. for
instance i have a nomad muvo. then go to download and see if they have a
firmware update, follow the steps and you may be able to, it fixed my problem
now my mp3 will download

I've got a similar problem, I can sync songs I've ripped from CDs but I get
an Unknown Error (80045006) message when I try to sync downloaded/online
purchased songs. Unfortunately the company website appears to be worthless
for any support or firmware updates. I can buy another player though!!
